TOP ANTI-AGING OILS FOR FLAWLESS SKIN

Visit any beauty shop and you will notice that almost all products promise to slow down the aging process. Some of these products are expensive and contain harsh chemicals that in the long-run may do more harm than good.

Instead of investing an arm and a leg in these products, make your own DIY products using the following natural anti-aging oils.

  • PRICKLY PEAR SEED OIL

Rated one of the most expensive botanical oils in the world, prickly pear seed oil has the highest amounts of Vitamin E as compared to other oils. The best thing about it is that you get a return on investment. It contains large amounts of potent antioxidants that protect the skin from various radicals that encourage the formation of wrinkles.

  • APRICOT KERNEL OIL

Apricot kernel oil is widely known for its skin-healing benefits. It is also rich in omega-6 which aids in the hydration and nourishment of the skin.

Apricot Kernel oil contains a large amount of both Vitamin E and A. These two vitamins are best known to encourage skin regeneration. They also produce collagen that is an anti-aging serum.

  • COCONUT OIL

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is one of my all-time favorite oils. It is very affordable and is rich in Vitamin E anti-oxidant making it perfect for skin-healing and anti-aging.

Coconut oil can is also a natural sunscreen as it can be used to guard your skin against the damaging ultra-violet rays from the sun.

  • ARGAN OIL

Also known as the miracle oil, argan oil is comprised of 80% unsaturated fatty acids that play a huge role in hydrating the skin, restoring elasticity and fading wrinkles and fine lines.

  • SWEET ALMOND OIL

With its large amounts of Vitamin E and K, sweet almond oil is excellent for skin rejuvenation and maintaining skin elasticity. It also helps in better circulation.

Sweet almond oil can be used as a sunscreen because it blocks ultraviolet rays from reaching the skin. This is ideal for people who live in arid or semi-arid areas.

  • AVOCADO OIL

Avocado oil is one of the healthiest oils for the skin. It is rich in Vitamin A and E. It also contains collagens that help reduce signs of aging.

However, most people find this oil a bit too thick and would most likely not use it on the face. I would, however, recommend using it in combination with another essential oil for it to be thinner. Using it during your nighttime skincare regime would also be a viable option.

  • ROSEHIP SEED OIL

Rosehip seed oil contains the highest amounts of natural Vitamin A. These large amounts of Vitamin A have the ability to reduce the depth of facial wrinkles as well as fade fine lines.

It is also known to boost the regeneration of new cells and also increases the production of collagen under the skin.

Being rich in unsaturated fatty acids and omega-6, Rosehip seed oil promotes skin elasticity, improves skin texture and the overall appearance of the skin. Since Rosehip seed oil has a lighter consistency compared to other oils, when applied, it gives the appearance of flawless skin without looking or feeling oily.
